Where is the force applied? What manner of force? So this writer still thinks that the idea of treating homosexuals equally is “forced”. Those who pick and choose what chapter and verse to beat others with are no more Christian than a bacteria is. If you are to hold forth that the Bible, as you interpret it, is beyond the law, then do so wholeheartedly. See what transpires. Everyone is a Theologian today. By a brick or a Bible can a man be beat. Now eat your shrimp salad as the oysters chill.

Someone who doesn’t want to treat homosexuals the same as everyone else is being forced to do so in the same way civil rights laws force segregationists to serve Blacks at their businesses or find another line of work.

I think the writer has just taken an interesting angle on discrimination from a New Testament point of view. I’m not sure it is a perfect analogy, but I will leave that to others.

The argument as I see it is that LGBT is considered a choice by some. I beleive that has been shown to be false. They are born that way. Therefore, God must make some junk. And these people can treat Gods creation as junk. “We are all Gods Children” rings hollow after that conclusion. I’m just very tired of the nonstop “I’m being repressed because I cannot lynch” bullshit. That author should ask who taught them to hate. If you ignore most of the Bible and choose to hold as inviolate a verse or two, that is BS. “Oh I would serve a gay person, I just wouldn’t cater a gay wedding” is a perfect example. So……How about Divorce?
Wow. What a condemnation. Look. It’s in the Bible. God will. Did Rush and Newt know this?
